Hudson Valley Traffic Stop Leads To Large Fentanyl Seizure: Police

A man from the region was allegedly nabbed with more than 103 grams of fentanyl during a traffic stop in the Hudson Valley.

The incident occurred in Dutchess County at 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 5, on the Taconic State Parkway in Pleasant Valley. 

According to Trooper AJ Hicks, state police stopped a 2018 Jeep Cherokee for traffic and vehicle laws. 

Hicks said an investigation determined the driver, Larrington Henry, age 33, of the Bronx, was in illegal possession of approximately 103 grams of fentanyl.

Larrington was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance with Intent to sell.

 He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the town of Pleasant Valley Court on Thursday, Nov. 21.
